My 4 Edits
1. Observe
2. Describe
There are two pictures with black matte board and in each photo there is a girl blowing bubble gum. Everything except for the gum is in black and white. The gum is somewhat super edited so that it's blue and purple instead of the normal color of gum. In both photos the girls are running their hands through there hair and appear to be outside. They are both relatively close to their face.
3. Analyze
Each photo uses the element of art, color, to make a center point around the photo and to give more than just a face. The vibrant color of the bubble compared with the black and white background draws focus to the main point of the photo. They also both use the principle of design, movement, by having your eyes go to the bubble first and then you are drawn to the eyes and then up towards the raised arm.
4. Interpret
Both of the photos have an intense feeling. The black and white could represent a black and white world with somewhat two-sided people. The bubble could be interpreted as the colorful words that are spoken, or the art created by words.
5. Judge
I think both of the portraits are well edited and In my opinion they are both good. Both of the images convey an intense feeling, and successfully, I believe. Yes, I would put this art in my house. The only thing I would have improved is in the photos I could have had a better background.
